The Festival of Ideas will be held at the University of Melbourne's Parkville Campus, located just north of the Melbourne CBD between Swanston St and Royal Parade. To reach the campus on public transport visit http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/.
All keynote lectures and panels will be held in the Carrillo Gantner Theatre basement of the Sidney Myer Asia Centre, which is the main venue for the festival.

Limited on-campus parking is available to the general public for a fee, only after 4pm Monday to Fridays, and all day at weekends. On-campus parking is available at:
"Visitors are advised that parking is generally available from mid afternoon weekdays, and from 7:00am to 6:00pm on weekends at University Square Car Park (Access to the car park is available until 11:00pm). The entrance is off Berkeley Street near the corner of Grattan and is $3.00 per hour or a maximum of $10.00 all day on weekdays and a flat rate of $5.00 after 5:00pm weekdays and all day on weekends."
